The School of the Loop · The Exchange in the Loop — Full Syllabus

Two roads.
One school.

The exchange ring exists to stock the Solana web; the web's harvest exists to refuel the ring. So the class teaches them as one course — every lesson twice: once on an order book, where a counterparty sets the rules, and once on-chain, where a contract does. The Trust Key tells you which world you are standing in.

The Instruments — One Observatory, Both Ends of the Road

Two watchers keep the school's archive, under one law: append-only, edge-triggered, gaps stated and never hidden.

The Book Watcher

Reads the exchange's public feed every two minutes — books, spreads, rail status. It caught two coins' rails going down before any human noticed. Its archive feeds the Flow Board.

The Pool Watcher

Reads the lattice's pools on the indexers — 14 Orca pairs across the family tokens — watching liquidity drift and price bands. Where the index leaves a pair blank, the archive records the blank. Its archive feeds the Chart Desk.

Why two?

One watcher is a rumor; two watchers on different kinds of evidence are a confirmation. The book and the chain are independent witnesses to the same loop — that pairing is the school's whole epistemology, built as machines.

The Syllabus — Ten Lessons, Taught in Pairs

A lesson opens only when both roads hold its receipts. States below are the honest ones, October 18, 2026.

Lesson 1 · The Keeper — opens as the cohort seats

The Venue Is a Counterparty

An exchange is a company, not a protocol: custodial keys, changeable rules, one support desk. Working float only; the emergency rail set before size.

TRUST
KEY

Read a Pool's Rules

A pool is a contract: fee tier, range, authorities — readable before you commit a satoshi or a lamport. What code promises, and what it cannot.

Lesson 2 · The Trade — receipts held, both roads

Read a Book

Bid, ask, spread, depth — and why the "last price" lies on a quiet book. Our own SOL book printed a price 88% stale and said nothing.

PRICE
DISCOVERY

Read a Pool

Reserves set the price; you can compute it yourself. Indexer vs chain reads, and the pairs the index leaves blank.

Lesson 3 · The Toll — receipts held, both roads · first lesson to publish in full

Fee Truth

1% a trade, in the asset received, rounded up to the whole satoshi — proved at 1.0465% effective. AltQuick pays its affiliates half the fee — the 50% share was confirmed by a payout receipt on Oct 18, 2026.

FOLLOW
THE FEE

Toll Truth

The pools' 1% LP toll accrues to whoever stocked them — harvested, on-chain, Oct 16. TUNNEL's separate 3% transfer toll withholds to its issuer. Same word family, opposite directions: never merge them.

Lesson 4 · The Record — receipts held, book road · chain road opens with Cycle #1's pool add

Journal Before Order

Intent written before the order exists; fills update the record; the file is hash-anchored weekly so it cannot quietly rewrite itself.

THE
LEDGER

The Cycle Ledger

Pool adds and harvests journaled in the same hand and the same format — one spine from fuel-in to split-out, drag totaled, net stated plainly.

Lesson 5 · The Trade — book road running · chain road at the first sweep

The Gap Ladder

Standing rungs inside a wide spread; episodic flow does the crossing. The failure mode is silence: a ladder nobody checks is a bag.

PRESENCE

Stocking the Web

Adding SOL to the pools is the ladder's other side — the same patience, committed on-chain, where it starts collecting tolls.

Lesson 6 · The Toll — book road running · chain road taught by the Paper Pool today

Two-Sided Presence

Recycling fills back to the ask side; bid/ask separation; a book you stand on both sides of, without ever quoting against yourself.

THE
WEB ANSWERS

The Lattice Answers

One trade tips a pool; arbitrageurs walk the disagreement through the neighbors, paying the toll at every hop. Run it in the Loop Room's Paper Pool.

Lesson 7 · The Trade — book road, first leg receipted · chain road as cross-rates publish

The Hop Gate

Hop through an intermediate book only when its spread pays the two extra trades — 4% of fees against 2% direct, on paper first, every time.

ROUTING

Routing Through the Hub

TUNNEL sits in 7 of 20 pools for the same reason BTC sits under every book on the exchange: the hub is where routes become cheap.

Lesson 8 · The Keeper — opens at the first sweep

Sweeps & Custody

The 0.25 threshold that keeps the flat fee under 4%; the venue's finite hot wallet and the etiquette of not draining it; your own test withdrawal before size.

HANDS
CHANGE

Keeper Changes Hands

Wallet → exchange → wallet → pool: custody changes three times a turn, and the ring page names the holder at every step. So should yours.

Lesson 9 · The Keeper — case files open now, both roads

When Rails Move

Rails go down (two coins, one server move, caught by the watcher), coins get delisted, terms change. The Exit Card: five triggers written before they are needed.

CASE
OPEN

When Platforms Walk Away

The 3% toll's redistribution is a platform's promise, graded CASE OPEN on the Watch Board until a distribution is ever observed landing.

Lesson 10 · The Record — first grade: Sunday, October 25

Grade the Week

Fills, drag, presence — including the one question that keeps ladder-keepers honest: was every core book actually quoted?

THE
GRADE

The Harvest Read

Tolls collected, read on-chain, graded against the ledger's expectation. Two columns, never merged: the desk's gross, the house's net.

How The School Runs

Learn it

The Loop Room teaches the chain road; the Flow Board runs the book road. This page is the map that joins them.

Test it

Cohort 01 grades the method before the class opens: receipt graders, paper operators, live micro behind a printed lock. Seats in m/tunnelvision.

Prove it

Every claim on every page carries its evidence class. When a receipt contradicts the school, the school corrects — in the open, append-only, like its journals.
