Paste a transaction.
Read every field.
Tx Reader decodes a CLAM or DOGE transaction right here in your browser: what it spends, where it pays, how much, and the fee. Nothing is sent or broadcast; the page only reads public chain data. It never asks for a private key, a seed phrase or a wallet connection, and there is nowhere to type one.
Read a transaction
Paste raw transaction hex, or a 64-character txid. Pick the chain, or let the reader work it out.
How the reading works: raw hex is decoded on this page and never leaves it. A txid, and the amounts of the coins a transaction spends, are fetched read-only through our relay from public explorers (chainz.cryptoid.info for CLAM; Blockchair, with BlockCypher as a backup, for DOGE). Every fetched transaction is checked: its bytes must hash to the txid asked for, or the reader refuses it. The relay keeps no logs and stores nothing.
What the fields mean
Version
The format the transaction uses. On CLAM, version 2 and up carries a ClamSpeech note at the end.
nTime (CLAM)
A timestamp written inside every CLAM transaction, right after the version. DOGE transactions have none.
Inputs
Each input points at an earlier transaction and one of its outputs (txid and index). Its script proves the right to spend it.
Outputs
Each output is an amount and a locking script. Standard scripts decode to an address.
Locktime
0 means no lock. Below 500,000,000 it is a block height; above, a time. The transaction can't be mined before then.
Fee
Not written anywhere. It is what goes in minus what comes out, so the reader has to look up every input's amount.
